About Jessica Knox
Jessica Knox was born and raised in Montgomery, AL. She has had a passion for news reporting since the age of 11 when she attended a magnet school studying broadcasting. Since then, she has known what she wanted to do and strives towards her goal every day.
Jessica started her career as a multimedia journalist in 2020 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she extensively covered crime, local government, and uplifting stories. With over five years of experience as a multimedia journalist for FOX, NBC, ABC, and CBS affiliates, she knows how to craft stories that stick.
She is a proud alumna of Alabama State University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and English. While in college, she served in many different organizations, graduating in three years as Magna Cum Laude.
When Jessica is not reporting news, she is either enjoying things like serving her community, watching television, or traveling. A quote that Jessica loves to go by is, “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter,” stated Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Whether she’s behind the camera or building a digital brand, my mission is simple: create content that connects.
